Born on January 14, 1986 in Kranj. After having successfully finished Grammar School in Škofja Loka in 2004 she enrolled at the Veterinary Faculty in Ljubljana from which she graduated in 2012. During studies Jerneja spent her spare time volunteering at several different small animal practices in Kranj and Škofja Loka. Additionally, she also gained some knowledge and experience working at the pharmaceutical company Lek d.d. Jerneja joined the team of Klinika Loka soon after her graduation. She became a permanent full time employee in 2020.
Jerneja regularly attends seminars and congresses in Slovenia and abroad.
