Surgery is a branch of medicine, concerned with the operative treatment of diseases and injuries. An operation is a medical procedure with a physical interference in the tissue. A procedure is considered surgical if it involves cutting of a patient’s tissue or closing the wounds.
Surgical procedures are performed by our surgical team that consists of the surgeons, the anaesthetist, and veterinary technicians. At Klinika Loka, we perform multiple soft and hard tissue surgeries (orthopaedic procedures).
Making an appointment for a procedure in advance is necessary. Multiple prior examinations where we discuss the surgery in detail need to be carried out.
