Born on 24. 5. 1993 in the hinterland of Koper, grew up in close contact with domestic animals from a young age. She developed her creative side at the Koper Art High School – fine arts department, where she further refined her love of artistic expression.
After graduating from high school, she quickly got involved in volunteer work and later found a job at the Coastal Shelter under the auspices of the Coastal Society against Animal Cruelty. Her love of working with children then led her to Ljubljana, where she completed her studies at the Faculty of Education in 2015 and became a teacher. However, because she enjoyed working with animals more, she soon returned to this field.
In 2018, she expanded her experience at the Ljubljana Zoo and the Gmajnice shelter. Realizing that working with animals is her life’s mission, she combined her creativity and love for animals and began training in the field of pet grooming. She also completed a course to become an animal caretaker.
Since 2021, she has been part of the Loka Clinic team, where she works as a small animal hairdresser and runs a small animal hotel.
She best sums up her work and mission with the thought:
“Working with animals is not just a profession for me – it is my hobby, my joy and a way of life in which I find my meaning.”
